I’m thankful for Wegmans
Having celiac disease is not fun, but with some planning you can still eat a Thanksgiving feast! I typically shop several stores for all the ingredients, but this year was able to find everything I needed at Wegmans, and couldn’t be happier not having to shop anywhere else. They mark many of their store-branded products as gluten free, making it easy to find anything you need, but also have tons of other brands to choose from.
This year, I’m making the following to fill my belly:
- Wegman’s turkey
- Bruce’s yams with butter, brown sugar, and then topped with Jet-Puffed marshmallows
- Ocean Spray cranberries
- Schär dinner rolls
- Bob’s Red Mill mashed potatoes – loaded with peas and corn
- Gravy made from the turkey drippings and GF flour for thickener
- Wholly Wholesome‘s GF pie crust filled with Libby’s pumpkin pie filling or granny smith apples (om nom nom)
